Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Several highways and roads across SE Minnesota were still closed or affected by high water early Friday afternoon.

Creeks, streams, and rivers remain high due to this week’s snowmelt and rain.

And downtown Rochester is also feeling the effects of the high water.

Two pedestrian walkways along the Zumbro River near the Government Center were underwater Friday morning because of a large ice jam. The city on Thursday closed several walkways, trails, and pedestrian bridges because of the ice jams and high water.

Flooding problems should ease in coming days as dry weather is expected through most of next week.
