Lakeland, MN (KROC-AM NEWS) - State officials have confirmed another Emerald Ash Borer infestation.

The latest is in Washington County at the St. Croix Rest Area along I-94. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture says the discovery means Washington County will likely be added to the list of counties in the state under a quarantine aimed at slowing the spread of the damaging green beetle.

Olmsted, Fillmore, Winona and Houston Counties are among the 10 Minnesota counties already under an EAB quarantine.
