Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) -  Motorists traveling on Highway 63 near the Rochester Airport can expect delays over the weekend.

Beginning at 5 PM Friday, crews will begin demolishing the old Olmsted County 16 bridge. The work is expected to be completed by 5 AM Monday.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says motorists should be prepared to slow down as traffic is detoured onto the exit and entrance ramps at the interchange. Access to the airport and the new Olmsted County 16 bridge will remain open during the demolition.

The nearly $7 million project started last year and is scheduled to be completed in about two weeks.
