Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  Reduced visibility is being reported across SE Minnesota due to dense fog caused by warm temperatures and melting snow.

Motorists are advised to be on the lookout for patches of dense fog - even in Rochester.

Some roads are also being impacted by flooding.  MnDOT says the stretch of Highway 52 between Highway 19 and 280th St E (near Cannon Falls) was being affected as of 6:00 AM. Also affected was Highway 50 at Miesville which was expected to be closed until further notice. The Highway 60 entrance into Wabasha remained closed Thursday morning due to high water.

More rain is expected into Friday morning, adding to this week’s snowmelt and area waterways continue to rise as a result. There have been numerous reports in the area of standing water and the flooding problems will likely continue into next week.

Dry weather is expected for several days beginning Saturday, which should help ease the risk of more flooding.
