Early in his administration, President Trump announced that he had been “wire tapped” by the Deep State of Democrat, President Obama minions, and. Subsequently, FBI and the intelligence agencies that allegedly tried to prevent his election, and then drive him from office for alleged improprieties and illegalities.

It has been substantiated that his conversations and telephone calls were monitored, and conversations leaked to the media by White House minions and the FBI and intelligence agencies.

It has been further discovered that the FBI planted a “spy,” or as some prefer to say, an “informant:” a retired UK Cambridge University professor Halper who the media described as “an American academic who teaches in Britain.”

Now the Democrats, media, and former officials insist the “spy” wasn’t planted in the Trump campaign to hurt Trump, but to “protect” him from the evil Russians who were hacking into the presidential campaign. Never mind Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her collusion with Russian interests, and funding from foreign entities into the Clinton Foundation while she was Secretary of State. And connections to the discredited Steele “Dossier” of alleged dirt against Trump that was supposedly used by the FBI to get a FISA warrant from a federal judge to, let’s say it again, “spy” on the Trump campaign.

The Democratic National Committee insisted that Russia hacked their email system. The DNC then turned down FBI requests to see the DNC email files. The FBI of then director James Comey inexplicably acquiesced to the Democrat demand.

Wall Street Journal columnist Kimberley Strassel said the FBI Russia collusion investigation became more than a national security issue because the Bureau weaponized the mission into a political agenda. The Department of Justice FBI leaked information it didn’t share with Congressional investigating committees to “friendly media” to embarrass and intimidate the Trump administration.

In mid-May President Trump put pressure on the FBI and DOJ to release the documents and evidence used to pursue Russian collusion assertions and initiate political unmasking and “spying.” These are documents Republican committee chairs have been requesting, but the DOJ and FBI have “stone-walled” and “slow-walked.” Assistant Atty. Gen. Rosenstein and FBI Director Wray then promised to meet with the president and share the documents.

The political perspectives and agendas of Congressional Democrats and Republicans continue to clash over the issues. House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) has long requested these documents. But Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) says Nunes’s actions could be illegal. Warner does not say that, of course, about the actions of “The Deep State.”

Former Obama CIA director John O. Brennan, who allegedly “misled” Congress, warned Senate Majority Leader McConnell (R-KY) and House Speaker Ryan (R-WI) that they “would be responsible for the harm done to our democracy if you enable Mr. Trump’s self-serving actions.” Sounds like some self-projection and self-interest deflections in Brennan’s words.

It remains to be seen which side will prevail and who will be brought before the halls of justice for doing what to whom.
