The Rochester City Council meets Wednesday night and one of the items on the agenda deals with the future of the former senior center building or Armory downtown.

The building has been appraised at around $675 thousand dollars and the adjacent parking lots at 1.5 million.  City Council President Randy Staver was on Rochester's Good Morning Tuesday with Rich Peterson and Kim David and he talked about the future of the building and what options are out there..

One group has expressed an interest in using the building and there are two other groups who have shown an interest in purchasing the property.  Staver says no decisions have been made.  The Council will begin the discussion at the Wednesday afternoon committee of the whole meeting.
