St Paul (KROC AM News) -The Minnesota legislature ended its 2018 session late Sunday night after acting on some major bills.

A bonding bill with a cost of nearly $1.4-billion was approved and it includes funding for several projects in SE Minnesota:

$22.8-million for a planned major makeover at RCTC

$2.5-million for a new bus garage in Rochester

$640,000 for the Lake Zumbro project

$10.2-million for a veterans home in Preston

$8-million for the National Eagle Center in Wabasha

$2.5-million for Oronoco’s wastewater treatment project

Legislative leaders expect Gov. Dayton will approve the bill but may line-item veto some of the projects.
