Undated (KROC-AM News) -- Two college athletes from southeastern Minnesota are being honored this week by the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Connor Nagle is the NSIC Women's Basketball South Division Player of the Week. The senior guard from Preston is a graduate of Fillmore Central High School and averaged 22.5 points and 5.5 rebounds for Winona State in a pair of games last week as she helped WSU secure its first ever NSIC regular-season championship. Over the past 5 games, Nagle has made 32-of-56 3-pointers (57.1 percent) and 55 percent overall, which has her ranked second in the NSIC in 3-pointers (88) and 3-point field goal percentage (44.9 percent). This is the second time this season Nagle has been named NSIC Player of the Week.

The NSIC men’s basketball North Division Player of the Week award went to Isaac Sevlie of Red Wing. The senior forward for Minnesota State Moorhead averaged 27.5 points and 9 rebounds last week in games against UMD and St. Cloud State. He shot 60.7 percent from the field (17-of-28) and 84 percent from the foul line while scoring 30 points against the Huskies and 25 points in the game at Duluth. He also has one previous NSIC Player of the Week award this season.
