Another Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Minnesota
St. Louis County, MN (KROC AM News) - There was another fatal motorcycle crash on a Minnesota roadway in St. Louis County Wednesday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol said 54-year-old Robert Bantz of Gilbert, Minnesota was killed after running into a vehicle on Highway 135. Bantz was driving his motorcycle westbound on the highway around 6:30 p.m. in the Biwabik township when a Toyota traveling eastbound on the same highway made a left turn toward Heritage Trail. As the Toyota made its turn, the motorcycle struck the passenger side of the Toyota and Bantz was thrown from his motorcycle.
The driver of the Toyota, 65-year-old Anna Mattila of Virginia, Minnesota, was not injured in the crash.
