New Richland, MN (KROC AM News) - A statewide alert has been issued for a missing teenager from southeast Minnesota.

The Waseca County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in trying to find 16-year-old Grace Cummins of New Richland. 

The sheriff’s office says after she left school Tuesday, she was seen getting into a blue semi-truck. The driver dropped her off 20 miles away in Albert Lea.

The sheriff’s office says she has had no contact with her family or friends and authorities are concerned for her welfare.

Grace is described as 5-9, 130 pounds with brown eyes and light brown hair. She was last seen wearing a dark color hooded coat/windbreaker, blue jeans and carrying a dark-colored backpack.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call 507-835-0500 or dial 911.
