Webster, MN (Learfield News Service) - A colt sired by Triple Crown winner American Pharoah was born and is being raised at Wood-Mere Farm in Minnesota.

The farm near Webster reported the colt was born the day after the Kentucky Derby and is the first Minnesota-bred horse sired by a triple crown winner.

American Pharoah swept the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes in 2015. He was the first horse since 1978 to win the Triple Crown.

The Colt still has not been named. The owners say One More Strike is nursing and doing well.
