Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The final numbers are in for the Rochester Salvation Army Christmas fundraising drive and they show the 2016 effort came up a little short of the goal.

The results of the Red Kettle campaign were announced at the Salvation Army Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner this week. Officials with the charitable organization say $1.008 million was raised to support the Salvation Army’s many programs benefiting people living and visiting the Rochester area.  That was about $78,000 shy of the goal of $1.08 million.
