#2 Seeds Advance in Section One Wrestling Tournament

Rochester, MN ( KROC Sports ) - The number two seeds in the Section One wrestling brackets beat the top seeds Saturday to advance to the state tournament.

In 1A, Zumbrota-Mazeppa edged Kenyon-Wanamingo 27-26.

Albert Lea upset Kasson-Mantorville in the 1AA bracket 32-27.

In the 1AAA bracket, #2 Farmington beat top seed Hastings 35-27.

The tournament was held at Rochester’s Mayo Civic Center.
