MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis police say a woman and her young daughter were wounded in a crossfire shooting on the city's south side.

KSTP-TV reports the shooting was reported at 2 p.m. Thursday at Peavey Park.

The mother, who is in her 20s, was walking in the park, and the toddler was in a stroller when they were both shot. Police say they were not the intended targets.

Police say both the mother and child are hospitalized in stable condition.

No one has been arrested, and police say they have no suspect description.

In a statement, Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges says she is "outraged" by the shooting.
