WOODBURY, Minn. (AP) — Police say the deaths of a couple found in their Woodbury home appear to be a case of murder-suicide.

Authorities say the couple had been married for 40 years and had lived in their townhome for 15 years. Neighbors became concerned when newspapers began piling up on the front doorstep and contacted authorities.

An officer broke a window to enter the home and found the bodies in separate upstairs bedrooms Friday afternoon. Authorities say the two may have died Tuesday.

Police say there was no history of any domestic troubles. The couple has not been identified.
