Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A La Crosse woman who was caught with 75 pounds of marijuana after a traffic stop in rural Olmsted County told the arresting officer it was for her sick husband.

A state trooper made the stop Saturday afternoon after spotting the vehicle run a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 52 and I-90 near Marion.

The trooper had a K9 that hit on something in the car and a search turned up 75 one-pound packages of marijuana.

Mai Houa Xiong was arraigned on a felony drug charge Monday and her bail was set at $5,000.

A day later, another trooper was called to investigate a crash involving a Rochester squad car.
