Minneapolis, MN (Learfield)  --  Minnesota star Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 34 points and 11 rebounds as the Timberwolves trimmed the Dallas Mavericks 101-92 at the Target Center last night.

Ricky Rubio pitched in with 13 points and a season-best 15 assists as Minnesota snapped a four-game losing streak.  The T'wolves are now 12-and-26 on the season.  Harrison Barnes bagged 30 points for Dallas, which fell to 11-and-27.

Dirk Nowitzki (no-VIT-skee) added 26 points for the Mavs in defeat.  The Wolves host Houston tomorrow night.
