WARREN, WI (AP) — A motorcyclist from Eden Prairie has been hospitalized after a police pursuit in western Wisconsin reached speeds of 132 mph and ended in a crash.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that a state trooper monitoring Interstate 94 near Warren clocked a speeding motorcyclist Monday morning and began chasing it. According to the St. Croix County sheriff's office, the chase ended when the motorcycle crashed a few miles away near Hudson.

The 20-year-old from Eden Prairie was taken to a hospital in St. Paul, where a spokesman said he was in fair condition.

Charges are pending in St. Croix County.
