Madison, WI, (Learfield Wire Service) - The Wisconsin Supreme Court has agreed to consider the case of a former Winona area man convicted of murdering a La Crosse camera store owner and his teenage son during a robbery four years ago.

43-year-old Jeffrey Lepsch of Dakota is currently serving two life sentences for the shooting deaths of Paul Petras and his 19-year-old son. He was arrested in 2012 after authorities found thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment stolen from the victims’ business in his home.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court decision came after two lower courts had upheld his convictions.
