WINONA, Minn. (AP) — One man is dead and another is hospitalized after a drive-by shooting outside a Winona bar.

A 49-year-old Winona man has been arrested.

Winona police say they received a call of shots fired at about 1 a.m. Wednesday outside EB's Corner. The two men were in a larger group outside the bar when they were shot.

Fifty-three-year-old Robert Charles Johnson of Winona was shot in the torso and later pronounced dead at a hospital. Twenty-seven-year-old Sean O'Brien, also of Winona, was shot in the leg and was in stable condition Wednesday.

Police say the suspected shooter drove up to the bar around closing time, spoke to people outside, then left and returned, firing shots at the group. Police are still investigating on Wednesday.
