Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) -- The southern quarter of Minnesota will be under a high wind advisory, while the National Weather Service has posted high wind warnings for areas of northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin. In southeastern Minnesota, the advisory will be in effect from 4 AM through 7 PM on Wednesday.

Forecasters are predicting wind gusts in the 40 to 50 mile per hour range in southern Minnesota. Wind gusts reaching 55 miles per hour are forecast in Iowa and parts of Wisconsin. Southeastern Minnesota also has a good chance of showers and storms on Wednesday.
