EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) — Matt Dumba, Thomas Vanek and Mikael Granlund each had a goal and an assist and the Minnesota Wild beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 on Thursday night to win their third straight under interim coach John Torchetti.

Jason Pominville and Charlie Coyle also scored for the Wild, and Darcy Kuemper made 31 saves. Minnesota had lost 13 of 14 games under former coach Mike Yeo before his firing Saturday night.

Connor McDavid and Nail Yakupov scored for the Oilers, and Cam Talbot had 22 saves. Edmonton has lost three straight and six of its last seven games.

Minnesota started the scoring 10 1/2 minutes in on the power play when a big rebound came out to Pominville, who ripped a shot past Talbot.
