St. Paul (Learfield) -- The Minnesota Wild picked up a big win with a 3-0 shutout of Colorado Saturday. Goaltender Devan Dubnyk suffered a second-period injury and had to leave the ice, but Darcy Kuemper completed the shutout in relief.

Minnesota controlled play by out-shooting the Avalanche 44-20.  Matt Dumba broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the second period.  Justin Fontaine and Jason Pominville found the back of the net in the third.

Dubnyk is to see a doctor today and he won't be traveling with the team to Denver.  He isn't expected to miss much time.  The Wild have allowed just one goal while winning three games in a row.

They play at Colorado tomorrow night.
