Whitewater’s Family Outdoor Fair Is This Saturday

In honor of National Get Outdoors Day and the Minnesota State Park Open House Day, you're invited to come to the Whitewater State Park Family Outdoor Fair this Saturday (June 13) from noon to 3pm. A variety of area organizations will be set up to introduce families to various outdoor opportunities in our region.

There will be various stations set up around the park. The Visitor Center will feature live raptors, prairie gardening & birding, make your own walking sticks and more. At the beach you'll find intro to canoeing and kayaking and GPS/Geocaching. Kids archery and fly tying demos will take place at the south picnic grounds.

Don't sit inside on Saturday, get out and enjoy the Family Outdoor Fair at Whitewater State Park. Who knows, you might even learn a thing or two.
