HASTINGS, Minn. (AP) — A man who served time in prison for a drunken driving crash that killed three brothers in Minnesota has been sentenced again for driving while intoxicated.

Boe Barlage was sentenced in Dakota County Thursday to five years in prison for driving drunk in Lakeville last May. KARE-TV reports Judge Tim Wermager told Barlage it was disappointing to see him back in court.

Barlage was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2004 for a drunken driving crash that killed Matthew, Jacob and Justin Backstrom near Farmington. Barlage's attorney, Tom Sieben, told the judge before sentencing that Barlage is an alcoholic who was in denial. Barlage told the judge he was prepared to accept whatever sentence he was given.
