Wanted Rochester Man Caught After Crashing Car
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man wanted for violating his parole was captured by police Friday evening and is now facing several charges for trying to get away.
A police spokesman says 25 year old Jason Bennett was spotted by an officer and followed to the North Broadway McDonald’s restaurant. When the officer tried to take him into custody, Bennett sped off. He crashed a short distance away and fled on foot but was apprehended. The spokesman says Bennett also had some drugs on him.
