The Minnesota women's basketball team fell to No. 14/13 Duke, 84-64 last night in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge in Durham, North Carolina.

Carlie Wagner led the way with 23 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field. Rachel Banham followed with 21 points and seven rebounds.

The Gophers trimmed the deficit to six early in the third quarter, but never led in the game. While they held a 15-14 edge in points off turnovers, the Blue Devils shot 50 percent. Duke used a 44-30 rebounding advantage and scored 15 second-chance points.

Minnesota returns home for a matchup with Towson on Sunday night. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
