Minnesota worked out free-agent offensive tackle Jake Long yesterday and officially announced his signing this morning. The Vikings needed to firm up the offensive line after losing multiple starters, including Matt Kalil and Andre Smith.

The Vikings have a short practice slated for today and then will have the rest of the week off.  Minnesota next plays at Philadelphia on October 23rd.
