Vikings Looking For Much Better Results Against Seahawks This Time
Minneapolis, MN (Learfield sports) -- The Vikings have the better record and an N-F-C North Division title, but both teams remember the 38-7 pasting Seattle delivered when the two met five weeks ago.
Minnesota hosts the Seahawks at noon today in the first round of the N-F-L playoffs, the first time the Vikings have hosted a playoff game in six years. Both teams like to run the ball and both feature strong defenses.
Seattle comes in as the hottest team in the league, going 8-2 after a 2-4 start. A Viking defense which has rung up 14 sacks and seven takeaways in the last three games of the season will be counted on by coach Mike Zimmer once more.
