UPDATE: Minnesota Police Officer, Son Found Shot to Death
St. Michael, MN (Minnesota News Network) - A police officer and his son are dead after being shot in Wright County.
Elk River Officer Todd Besser and 27-year-old Blake Besser were discovered Saturday night in their St. Michael home. Less than an hour later, dispatchers received a call from the officer's other son, Christopher Besser, saying he wanted to turn himself in.
The 21-year-old was arrested without incident.
The sheriff's department says the shooting appears to be a domestic situation and no other suspects are being sought.
