Two stadiums in Minnesota have been nominated for the Sports Facility of the Year according to Sports Business Daily.

Although U.S Bank Stadium has not gotten a great rep for hosting concerts, they have had a tremendous reputation when it comes to playing host to some big-time events like Super Bowl LII, X-Games and the Final Four next year.

U.S Bank Stadium is home to the Vikings and has done a tremendous job of giving the Vikings a home-field advantage and giving an incredible experience to their fans.

Target Center recently went under a $140 million renovation to help the Wolves actually draw some fans into the arena. With upgrades to the digital scoreboards, concessions and seating, the Target Center made the cut. The Wolves are playing much better basketball, so that helps, too.

Little Caesars Arens in Detroit, home of the Red Wings, Notre Dame Stadium, Suntrust Park in Atlanta,(home of the Atlanta Braves) and T-Moblie Arena in Las Vegas (home of the Vegas Golden Knights) also made the cut.

Target Field and the Xcel Energy Center aren't too shabby either. I think it goes without saying, we have some pretty amazing stadiums in our home state.
