Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester’s new City Administrator has filled two key positions at City Hall.

Steve Rymer on Friday announced the hiring of Aaron Parrish and the promotion of Terry Spaeth to fill the vacancy that will be created by next month’s retirement of longtime Assistant County Administrator Gary Neumann and the departure of Aaron Reeves in September. Spaeth, who has worked for the city since 1986, is assuming Neumann’s responsibilities and Parrish will take over the position previously held by Reeves when he reports for work in February. Parrish is coming to Rochester from Forest Lake, where he has served the City Administrator since 2011.

The city will also be hiring a new City Attorney in the near future. The City Council will soon have to find a replacement for Terry Adkins, who earlier announced plans to retire in February holding the position for the past 17 years.
