Two More Fatal Motorcycle Crashes in Minnesota
(Lakeville, MN) Learfield Wire Services/TTWN Media Networks -- Lakeville police say the 38-year-old Farmington man injured in a motorcycle-vehicle collision Thursday morning has died. The department says the man died Thursday night. Investigators say the motorcyclist was heading east on County Road 46 and collided with a westbound vehicle turning left from County Road 46 onto Eagleview Drive. Lakeville police officials say the department and the Minnesota State Patrol continue to investigate the crash. Reconstruction of the accident is expected to take several weeks. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
(Bemidji, MN) -- Police say one person was killed in a motorcycle crash in Bemidji late Thursday afternoon. Bemidji police report that officers responded to a crash on at around 5:37 PM Thursday. Upon arrival, first responders said they discovered a motorcycle that appeared to have left the road and flipped. Officers say the motorcyclist died at the scene. The victim's identity has not been released. Police continue to investigate the accident.
