JASPER, Minn. (AP) — A hog barn fire has killed two people in southwestern Minnesota.

The Rock County sheriff's office says the fire was reported just before 9:30 a.m. Monday east of Jasper.

Authorities say some employees were pressure washing the inside of the barn when it started on fire. Two people were unaccounted for and were believed to be inside the barn.

Killed were 50-year-old Sharla Drew and 32-year-old Kristy Giesler, both of Jasper.

No hogs were in the barn at the time.

Five fire departments responded. The State Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
