Two Fatal Shootings in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis police say two people are dead after separate shootings on the city's north side.
Both victims — a woman and a man — were fatally shot in cars.
Police were called about gunshots around 11 p.m. Friday and found a woman in a car suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where she died.
The second shooting happened around 5 a.m. Saturday. Police responded to a report of a man slumped over inside a car and found he also been shot. Paramedics determined he was dead.
Names of the victims were not immediately released. Investigators are talking to people in the areas of the shootings.
