Undated (KROC AM News) -  Three people were killed in traffic wrecks in Minnesota Thursday night.

The State Patrol says two women were fatally injured in a wreck in Faribault County around 7:30 when the car they were in left the road and crashed in a ditch. The driver was 33-year old Heather Northrup of Elmore.  Her passenger was 32-year-old Britany Larson of Inver Grove Heights, who was taken to St. Marys  Hospital where she died. The wreck happened near the near the town of Elmore, which is south of Blue Earth near the Iowa border.  

The other wreck happened around 6:30 in Brainerd.

The State Patrol says a pickup truck driven by 40-year-old Gerrey Stevenson of Little Falls crossed the centerline of Highway 371 and collided head-on with a car, killing its driver.  He was identified as 57-year-old Ray Demars of Brainerd. Stevenson suffered serious injuries.
