Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police made two arrests Wednesday involving BB guns that look like a real weapon.

The first incident happened around 4:30 p.m. near Quarry Hill Park.

A spokesman says two men got into a confrontation involving an earlier dispute. One pulled out a gun and pointed it at the other man’s head. He then rode off on a bicycle while the other man called police. Arrested a short while later was 25-year-old Nicholas Auringer. The spokesman says he could face a felony assault charge.

The other incident was reported around 7:45 p.m. at the Casa Blanca restaurant at the Northgate Shopping Center.

The owner reported he had told four juveniles who were hanging out in front of the business to leave and one pulled out a handgun. The owner says it looked like a real gun and he felt threatened so he called 911. Police later located a 15-year-old suspect and a BB gun and took him into custody.
