Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Two men were arrested early Wednesday as suspects in the reported assault of a Rochester cabdriver.

The driver told police he picked up four men in the downtown around 2:30 a.m. and gave them a ride to the Fairfield Inn and Suites near the Miracle Mile Shopping Center.

The cabbie says two of the men paid the fare and went inside the hotel. He says the other men wanted to go to another site. The cabbie says because the two were drunk, he asked for money before he drove to the other site. He says they then became belligerent and  he got out of his cab. The victim says the men got out and began assaulting him and he ran inside the hotel to call for help.

The two men were gone when officers arrived but were later caught.

Arrested were Tadros Deng and Akolda Manyang, both 22-years-old and from Rochester.
