Twins Open Series against Tampa Bay

St. Petersburg, FL ( Minnesota News Network) -   The Minnesota Twins open a three game series against the Rays Tuesday in St. Petersburg. 

Ervin Santana will get the ball in the opener for Minnesota. The right-hander is 2-4 on the season with a 5.53 earned run average.

Tyler Duffey will toe the rubber on Wednesday with Tommy Milone closing out the series on Thursday.

Minnesota is only a 1 1/2 games out of an American League Wild Card spot.
