Oakland, CA (MNN Sports) – A 10th-inning single by Stephen Vogt gave the Oakland Athletics a 3-2 walk-off win over the Twins Saturday night.

Scott Kazmir and Phil Hughes battled in a pitchers’ duel through eight innings, with Billy Butler’s home run for the A’s the only score. The Twins took the lead with two runs in the top of the ninth, but lefty Glen Perkins blew a save for the first time this season in the bottom.

In the 10th, Billy Burns led off with a double and stole third. Vogt lined a clean single to left for the victory. Drew Pomeranz got the win, while Casey Fein absorbed the loss for Minnesota.

Tommy Milone starts today’s 3:05 p-m game for the Twins in Oakland. The A’s will counter with Jesse Chavez.  Pre-game coverage begins at 2 o'clock on 1340 KROC AM.
