URBANDALE, Iowa (AP) — Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has boosted the summer ratings for TV news networks. Now he's bringing his celebrity firepower to ... a high school homecoming event in Iowa.

Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski confirmed the billionaire businessman will appear at Urbandale High School's homecoming event Saturday night.

Trump accepted the invitation from the school's 2016 senior government class after students launched a social media campaign urging candidates to attend.

Students and members of the public are being invited to the rally.
