Minneapolis (Learfield News Service)  Donald Trump, Jr. is coming to Minnesota on Monday to headline a private fundraiser for the Republican Party.

State GOP Chair Jennifer Carnahan says the visit by the president's son, "just shows that there is so much focus and attention on our state, specifically with the important races we have on the ballot for United States Congress and Senate."

President Trump visited Duluth in June and Vice President Mike Pence has been to the state twice this summer.

Carnahan is hoping for another presidential visit before the November election.
