Minneapolis, MN (Learfield Wire Services) - Junior running back Jordan Roberts of the University of St. Thomas has been named the NCAA Division Three Offensive Player of the Year.

This is the first time a member of the Tommies football team has won the national honor.  Roberts rushed for two-thousand-92 yards and scored 36 touchdowns for the 14-1 Tommies.  Five teammates earned national honors -- tight end Charlie Dowdle, tackle David Simmet, nose guard Ryan Winter, tackle Will Hilbert and linebacker Jess Addo.
