Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester Police arrested three teenage boys on a variety of charges Friday night following an incident at the Walmart South store.

Police Capt. John Sherwin says officers were sent to the store around 8:30 p.m. after receiving reports that three teenagers were riding electric mobility carts around the store and crashing them into each other.  When police attempted to detain them, the teenagers assaulted the officers and ran out of the store. One of the teens, after pushing an officer to the ground, basically ran over a second officer by putting his shoulder down and knocking the officer to the ground as he ran out of the store.

All three juveniles were apprehended in the store’s parking lot, where it was also discovered they were in possession of marijuana wax. They are now being held at the Olmsted County Juvenile Detention Center on felony assault, drugs and other charges.
