Buffalo, MN (Learfield Wire Service) - Three men are facing murder charges in connection with the death of a 19 year old woman in Wright County last week.

The criminal complaints indicate 19-year-old Cheyenne Clough had been badly beaten and shot four times with a .22 caliber weapon, with gunshot wounds to the back of her head, neck, and shoulder.

The man identified by investigators as the alleged shooter, 21-year-old Shawn Benson of Buffalo, has been charged with second-degree murder. The two other men, 28-year-old Justin Jensen of Maple Lake and 26-year-old Edward Zelko a Buffalo are facing aiding and abetting second-degree murder charges. A third man was earlier charged with aiding an offender to avoid arrest, while two women arrested during the investigation of Clough’s murder have not been charged in the case.

The Buffalo woman died several days after she was found clinging to life outside a rural park several miles south of Buffalo last Wednesday.
