BLUFFTON, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say two women and an infant suffered minor injuries when an SUV collided with a horse-drawn buggy in Otter Tail County.

Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened around 5 p.m. Friday on Minnesota 29 near Bluffton.

The SUV struck the horse after it crossed into the westbound lane and veered back into the eastbound lane to avoid oncoming traffic. The collision forced the horse and buggy off the road, and the driver of the buggy, a 24-year-old woman, and her infant were ejected.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that no one was seriously injured, but the driver of the buggy and her infant, as well as the SUV driver, a 58-year-old woman, were taken to a hospital in Wadena.

The crash remains under investigation.
