MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Police say five people, including three children, are dead in a home in a western Minneapolis suburb in an apparent murder-suicide.

South Lake Minnetonka Police Chief Mike Siitari tells KSTP-TV that police were called to the home when no one was seen or heard from for several days. Siitari says the children did not show up for school this week.

The names of the victims and how they were killed have not been released.

Aerial footage of the scene showed an upscale home in Greenwood, a tiny village of just a few hundred people on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, about 20 miles west of Minneapolis.
