Thieves Hit Stewartville Storage Units
Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man went to get his property that was kept in storage over the winter but it was no longer there.
The man discovered the theft last week. He says the items had been placed in two storage units at a Stewartville apartment complex. The missing property includes a log splitter, a riding lawnmower and some Bobcat tires. The victim listed the loss at $16,000.
There was no sign of forced entry and the victim has no idea when the property was taken. He says he put the items in the units November 1 and discovered everything was gone March 27.
