St Paul, MN (AP) - Former Minnesota Twins reliever Caleb Thielbar has returned to the St. Paul Saints.

The independent-league team announced the addition Monday of Thielbar, who pitched two-plus seasons for the Twins before being waived last summer.

The left-hander, a native of Randolph, Minnesota, has his photo on the Saints Wall of Fame inside the team clubhouse at CHS Field. The 29-year-old set a Saints franchise record in 2011 with 29 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings. His contract was purchased by the Twins organization later that summer.

Thielbar made his major league debut in 2013 and won the Twins Most Outstanding Rookie award after finishing that season with a 1.76 ERA in 49 appearances.
