Thief Runs off with Rochester Man’s Money Bag
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man says he was robbed early Wednesday while on his way to work.
The 25-year-old man says he was walking to his car parked near the Meadow Park apartments complex around 5 a.m. and had a cash bag from his place of employment with him. He told officers a strange man walked up and the two began fighting. The victim says he thought the man had a knife. The thief ran off with the bag, which the victim says contained between $1,500 and $2,000.
The empty bag was later found nearby.
